ABOUT BRAD
Brad left the Vinyl Room as a first-generation college student to play Division II basketball at a small college in Northern California. After two hip surgeries sidelined his far-fetched dream of playing professionally, Brad pivoted to the next most exciting path he could imagine: commercial banking.
Brad joined First Republic Bank, where he became part of a new group focused on supporting founders and entrepreneurs in the earliest stages of their businesses. He worked directly with business owners to deliver white-glove service and tailored financial solutions to help them grow and scale. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he stepped into a special leadership role, helping more than 500 small business owners secure vital Payroll Protection Program (PPP) financing during a time of national uncertainty.
His time at First Republic ended abruptly in 2023 when the bank collapsed, a moment that tested Brad’s commitment to his clients and taught him invaluable lessons in crisis leadership as he helped hundreds of business owners navigate through chaos.
Guided by his own entrepreneurial roots and inspired by the entrepreneurs he served, he went on to earn his MBA from Harvard Business School with the goal of entering the arena himself.

Today, Brad is supported by a group of experienced operators and investors, focused on acquiring a great business from an owner that is ready to transition. With a deep respect for the legacy and impact of small businesses, his mission is to preserve the business that his been built and invest in its future—for employees, customers, and the community alike.
Brad is not private equity. He’s not looking to buy a portfolio of businesses or flip a company for a quick profit. He has no interest in stripping away the culture, people, or values that made the business successful in the first place. He’s not here to move operations out of the community or make changes that sacrifice what the business is at its core. Brad is a hands-on operator who will step into the muddy day-to-day operations. He plans to lead with humility, integrity, and lifelong curiosity. He believes in earning trust by doing the work, learning from the people who know the business best, and building on the foundation that’s already in place.
Outside of work, Brad stays connected to his athletic roots by training for his first triathlon. He’s an avid reader, usually toggling between fantasy novels and memoirs of people he admires. He lives in New York with his partner, Emily, but he’s always looking for an excuse to drag her to a beach to spend the day body surfing.
