Criteria
We remain flexible on criteria because we know a great business is more than just numbers on a page, but generally what we are looking for:
- B2B businesses in growing industries
- $1.5-7mm of EBITDA with 15%+ margins
- Predictable revenue – a majority of revenue from repeat customers or from long-term contracts
- Low customer concentration – the largest customer is less than 20% of revenue
- Durable and mission critical services – no turnarounds, fads, or businesses with a high exposure to business cycles
- People – an owner ready and willing to transition out of the business but with a strong team in place
